Your livestock's health is contingent on the quality of your meadows
For your livestock operation, the quality of your grass and the yields of your meadows are equally indispensable. Temporary meadows have well identified needs:
|
Grass quality and yield
Richer, more appetising forage makes it possible to increase the stock's average daily gains (ADGs) in the case of suckler farming but also to increase the milk output of dairy cows. The nitrogen concentration is the best indicator of a forage's richness. The forage must also be rich in calcium and magnesium.
